ANKIT FADIA(REVERSE ENGINEERING)

  • What is Reverse Code Engineering?

"Reverse Engineering (RE) is the process of discovering the technological principles of a mechanical application through analysis of its structure, function and operation". Basically, Reverse Code Engineering (RCE) is the application of the reverse engineering process to software - in other words, analyzing a program in order to understand how it works. Reverse engineering is largely focused on the windows platform as its mostly used to analyse closed source programs; however, reversing under Linux is also popular for inspecting buffer overflows, closed-source Linux applications, and hostile Windows programs (without the risk of running them).

  • Installation and Distribution

Trojan Horse can be installed through the following methods:
  • Software downloads.
  • Bundling (e.g. a trojan horse included as part of a software application downloaded from a file sharing network).
  • Email Attachments.
  • Websites containing executable content (e.g., a Trojan horse in the form of an ActiveX control).
  • Application exploits (e.g., flaws in a Web browser, media player, instant-messaging client, or other software that can be exploited to allow installation of a Trojan horse).

ANKIT FADIA(EMAIL TRACING)

Email Tracing

  • Tracing an Email means locating the original sender and getting to know the IP address of the network from which the email was actually generated.
  • Locating Original sender is not always possible but we have tried our best to get it. For this we have to be familiar with Email structure.
  •  As we all know the travelling of the Email. Each message has exactly one header, which is structured in fields. Email header contains all the valuable information about the path and the original sender of the Email.
Header Fields
  • From:- Email Address where the Email has come from.
  • To:- Email address of the destination.
  • Subject:- Subject of Email.
  • Date:- The local time of the server when the message was sent.
  • Bcc:- Blind Carbon Copy.
  • Cc:- Carbon copy.
  • Content type:- Information about how the message hae to be displayed, usually a MIME type.
  • Received:- Tracking information generated by the mail servers that have previously handled a message.
  • Reply To:- Address that should be used to reply to the sender.
You can get IP Address of the sender from the header and then can locate the sender.

ANKIT FADIA (AMAZING TRICK)

EMAIL SPAMMING

Most of us get SPAM every day. Some of us get more and some little. Even a newly created email account will begin to receives spam just after a few days of its creation. Many times we wonder where these spam come from and why? But this question remains unanswered within us. So I will try my best to give every possible information about the spam. For much more better information you always have to be in contact with this blog.
Spam is the abuse of electronic messaging systems (including most broadcast media, digital delivery systems) to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. Most widely recognized form of spam is email spam.
Where do these SPAM comes from?
These spam come only from spammers and never from a legitimate user or a company. These spammers send a single email to hundreds (sometimes thousands or millions) of email addresses at a time. They either send it manually or use SPAMBOTS to automate the process of spamming.
Why do spammers SPAM?
The main goal of spammers is to send the spam (unsolicited bulk messages) to as many people as possible in order to make profits. For examples, AJAY builds a small website to sell an e-book which gives information about weight loss. In order to make sales he needs publicity for his website. Instead of spending money on advertising, AJAY decides to create an email which contains information about his site along with it's link and send this email to say 100 email addresses in his contact list. If 1 person out of  hundred buy this book AJAY gets Rs.10. What if he sends this email to 1000s of email addresses. He gets Rs.100. Imagine, if he sends this email to 1 million email addresses. He gets Rs.100000.
Now I hope you understood the idea behind spamming. So in order to make money, spammers send their advertising email to as many people as possible without respecting the recipients privacy.
If you want for information about this must gave your feedbacks.

  • Bhaskaracharya rightly calculated the time taken by the earth to orbit the sun hundreds of years before the European astronomers. His calculations were - time taken by earth to orbit the sun : 365.258756484 days.
